Ivana Sainthillien

I grew up in Belgrade as the first of three children in a close-knit family, where I started creating at a very young age. For as long as I can remember, I've loved drawing.
This passion for creation and arts led me to pursue my MFA at the University Of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia.

After graduation, I worked as a freelance designer on many projects, including theatre plays, TV shows, movies, music videos, and events. I had the fantastic opportunity to see my ideas come to life.

In 2014, I moved from Belgrade to NYC to broaden my horizons and start my international career.
My experience as a stage and set designer at many theater, film, and television projects enabled me to work with others through the creative process of production. I met the presented challenges with new ideas and originality while pushing my creative barriers.

My background in textile, graphic, and fashion design, as well as theater, film, and television, has formed and shaped my unique sensibility. It has also given me the ability to express myself in various media and become a well-versed artist.

In 2020, I became a proud owner of IVY DESIGN STUDIO LLC, where I continue creating 3D interior/store/scenic designs, Visual merchandising displays, etc.
​
When I am not in my studio creating, I'm either traveling or attending different shows, visiting museums, exploring NYC neighborhoods, and playing with DIYs.
